i added some ballerina pinky-tan paint to this, it needed another color other than blue or turquoise but i still wanted it to be somewhat neutral. anyways, ill live with it for a little while and see if i want to add more but for now, at least, im happy with it
i want to leave a lot of these raw areas while building up others...and today i added the really dark brown vertical stripes (and some light pink-tan and hot pink) to do a more blunt representation on how i almost always, eventually take a 'happenstance' drip or mark and pull it taught into a vertical or horizontal line. i like the mix of soft and wispy with a little bit of restriction and the kind of eerie feeling i think that a straight vertical drip can give..gravity alone pulling something like blood or an unknown substance into a matter-of-fact state of what it is...
softening this one up (like a marshmallow peep in the microwave! if you havent ever done that then you should, they expand up HUGE! and then go back down, its great) ..anyways
