My inspiration images for the paintings that will be in the Limbo show at WAAS Gallery:

 

the curator asked that I make some paintings in response to my painting from 2007, Fizz, because it could  mesh well with the theme of "Limbo"

I LOVE:

 

Picasso's "Equestrienne a cheval", (1905) is so powerful in its simplicity. it carries its own presence with its movement while keeping a matter-of-factness' in bold placement of color-simple and beautiful and confident

I LOVE:

 

im still so obsessed with Gaultier's 'religious' inspired clothing...bright, mystic, ethereal but eery sometimes, otherworldly

ART CON 8 is Coming!!!! November 10, 2012

 ***sorry I haven't posted anything in so long! My husband and I went to Thailand (!!!!!) to visit his sister and brother-in-law...I'll post some pictures of it soon and give some updates as to my progress with getting ready for the WAAS Group show in November...
