 it's okay to me that my paintings are almost always telling that they're made by a female- and with that femininity i want to express quirkiness, confidence and abruptness

i'll be getting my large canvases for the group show at WAAS Gallery this fall all fixed up today and tomorrow!! im so excited! there will be 3' by 5' canvases; im not sure if i can use all four that im making for the group show, maybe just a couple but itll be good to be working on an extra bc ill use it sometime soon im sure

Johnny Robertson, i'm a new big fan -wow his paintings are beautiful (lots of thin layers of color and the brush strokes of thick pastels and darks are lush and SO well painted). his show "Beneath the Skies" at Conduit Gallery in the design district of dallas just ended this past saturday, i caught the last day :) thank goodness
