worked on the painting some more...keep working tonight too so that hopefully, i can start a new one really soon

my drawing instructor in my continuing edu class said that we need to be doing some relatively quick studies of ourselves to practice between classes. heres one i did today, it's kind of creepy but i like it :) its obvious im still pretty rusty but i feel like im getting a lot better even in the past week. ..the left side of my face looks a little chubby bunny but only bc i couldnt get my white conte crayon to take out enough of the line id placed there before when i was first laying down where things were...anyways.

a new painting :) ...im going to try to be less heavy-handed and more loose with the next few..more 'painterly'..and the colors will be in a different palette,too (im thinking some more neutrals and organic colors with pops of the neon or rich ones, we'll see)






heres some contour drawings from my life drawing class :) we didn't get to do too many bc it was the first class. OK!!! keep in mind contour drawings are not about being pictures or looking exactly like the person..theyre just studies so especially the middle one..?no i am not a baby and i did not draw that with my left foot.
